General Ordering Questions

How do I order photography and other services?

Existing clients will need to login to order. New clients will need to make a login and follow the corresponding steps. Have questions? Please call 217-522-3117.

What is the timeline for scheduling an appointment?

When placing an order you'll have the opportunity to pick a day you'd like the appointment to take place. If needing a particular time, please input that information in the order form under Additional Information and we will do our best to accommodate. If a day is not available on the calendar that means there are no more appointment times for that day. Once an order is placed we'll send a confirmation email over with the time and day of the appointment. If the time/day of the appointment needs changed please call, text, or email so we can fill that slot with another appointment.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Orders are delivered next business day unless noted on a particular service.

How will I receive my order?

An email will be sent that includes a downloadable link or you can login to view and download.

What areas do you service?

We provide service to Springfield and the greater Springfield area, Jacksonville, Decatur, Lincoln, and Taylorville. Outside of our designated service area? For an additional charge, we'd be happy to help. 

General Appointment Questions

Will the photographer stage my property?

Before the photographer arrives, the property should be clean, staged, and prepared for the shoot. Due to liability and risk of injury, we are not able to move furniture, large, heavy objects and personal items. For information and suggestions on how to prepare the property please take a look at our Pre Appointment Checklist. The photographer may choose to do some “light staging” during the shoot, which may include: aligning blinds/curtains, closing toilet seats, turning off ceiling fans and televisions, and adjusting lightweight furniture.

How can I cancel and/or reschedule my appointment?

Call or text 217-522-3117 or email info@exposurerealestatemedia.com to cancel or reschedule. Please provide at least 24 hours notice prior to confirmed appointment time or a cancellation fee may be assessed.

Who owns the rights to the pictures?

We retain the copyright to the images unless special arraignments are made and additional licensing fees are paid. The Agent/Client will have the rights to reprint all images furnished in unlimited media (print, web, video, e-mail) to market the property in any manner.


To be very clear, only the original client is licensed to use the images, and that license is non-transferable. If the client is a home owner and later decides to hire an agent, that agent would need to re-license the images for them to use them. Agents may not transfer the license of images to another listing agent without relicense fees.

How long will it take to photograph my property?

Depends on the size of the property and the amount of marketing services ordered for that property, but most appointments will run 45 minutes to 2 hours.

How do I pay?

We take credit cards. Payment is due when placing an order. If needing other payment options, please contact us and we'd be happy to discuss.

Do I have to meet you at the property to give you access?

N​o. We have access to Sentri lockboxes or if a manual lockbox is at the property we would just need the code. Of course, you are also always welcome to meet us at the property. 

What if the weather is bad on the day of my shoot?

If the weather is bad on the day of your scheduled shoot (i.e. heavy rain) you will be given the opportunity to reschedule for the next available open shoot date.  

What about pets?

We ask to please remove all pets from the home during the photoshoot. If this is not possible, we suggest putting the animals in one room or crate them while the photo shoot takes place.
